Incline Bench Press

Incline Bench Press

An incline bench press is a bench press exercise done on a weight bench that has its back rest inclined upwards so the person on the bench is not lying down, like on a regular bench press. An incline bench works out different muscles than a regular bench press does. The incline bench strengthens the upper chest muscles instead of the middle chest muscles. This is a great exercise for you if you want to strength train and build your arm and pectoral muscles. All you need for this exercise, is an incline weight bench and a barbell set.

You can do an incline, a decline, or a regular bench press if you have a weight bench with an adjustable backrest, or if you just have an incline weight bench. An adjustable weight bench is a good option for you if you are on a budget, or if you have limited space in your home gym. An incline bench is a good option for you if you already have a flat weight bench, but want an incline weight bench as well, and you have a decent budget and a good amount of space in your home gym. Before you perform an incline press, you should make sure you are doing the proper form by looking up the proper form online or by asking a fitness expert. You should make sure that if you perform any bench press, you have a spotter so they can help you and reduce the risk of injury.
